GES 2026 Teacher Recruitment: Opening and Closing Dates

The 2026 recruitment of 7,000 new teachers by the Ghana Education Service (GES) will run through an online application portal with clearly defined opening and closing periods.
Opening date
The GES recruitment portal will open on Friday, April 10, 2026.
From this date, eligible graduates (mainly from 2022 to 2025) can begin logging on to the official GES recruitment portal to fill and submit their applications.
Closing date
The portal will close on Tuesday, July 1, 2026, which is the final deadline for submitting applications.
Applicants are advised to complete and submit their forms before this cutoff, as no further submissions will be accepted after the portal shuts down.
Keep an eye on the official GES website and GES portal (gespromotions.gov.gh) for any slight updates or technical notices close to April 10.
